We knew after Jasmine & Matt’s engagement session that this wedding was going to be one for the books, but there’s no way we could have predicted how romantic and downright FUN this day would be! Jasmine thought of absolutely everything to ensure that her guest’s enjoyed the wedding, right down to a custom snapchat filter. From the moment we arrived, we could sense how much these two care about their friends & family, and how fiercely they are loved in return. Jasmine & Matt, your wedding day was such a selection of your love for each other, and we were so thrilled to document it! Choosing favorite to share was a tough job; let’s just say this wedding will probably be making appearances on our instagram feed for a really long time!
Meanwhile, the guys were attempting to work some bowtie magic. which was no small feat. Matt was possibly the sweetest almost-husband in history; he grinned from ear to ear as he talked about Jasmine, how excited her was to marry her, and even played the first dance song for us to hear.
Once we got the guys tucked away, it was time to get the ceremony rolling! Up the aisle, Miss Westbrooks…..
and back down the aisle, officially the ROGERS!!
When we headed outside for portraits, we had exactly 20 minutes of light to work with. For most people, this would be stressful, but Jasmine’s response was so perfect; “What’s a wedding without a little hustle?” They didn’t miss a beat as we rolled through family portraits, wedding party portraits, and of course the best for last…..newlywed portraits!!
Hard to believe that we were in one of the busiest intersections in DC with almost no light left!!
Once the reception got rolling, the party didn’t stop. Dancing, toasts filled with laughter and heartfelt tears…
Jasmine & Matt chose to end their night with an epic ballon drop during their last dance together….we’ll take this over a sparkler exit any day!!
Jasmine & Matt, your day was magical from beginning to end, and we’re so thrilled we got to document it. We’ve loved getting to know you and can’t wait to see what’s next for the Rogers!!
