She promised to laugh at his jokes, help him reach his goals, and to bake him oatmeal cookies when ever he needs them. He promised to share their life experiences, to be faithful, and of course to never shave off his beard. Therese and Devin, your love and sense of humor make the perfect match, and we couldn’t be happier for the two of you!
Therese and Devin had exchanged their vows at the Virginia Capitol on a gorgeous September afternoon. They opted for a photo session before the ceremony, giving us plenty of time for gorgeous photo ops!
When it came time for the ceremony, Therese & Devin’s loved ones assembled on the Capitol steps. As it turns out, exchanging vows in that particular location is frowned upon by the law….so with a nod to the m̶e̶a̶n̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶s̶c̶a̶r̶y̶ very, very nice security guards, the wedding party and reconvened on the bell tower steps.
How many couples get to have two ceremonies in one day? This gives new meaning to the term double wedding….
Therese and Devin were generous with their time for photos, so we had even more time (!!!) after the ceremony to work with this gorgeous couple and their wedding party.
