Mark & Lauren are a couple we just can’t get enough of; they got married in a castle, had the most gorgeous of reception details, and yet the day remained focused simply on the two of them and their love for each other. We were honored to document their intimate wedding day, and thrilled to share just a small handful of details from their Dover Hall celebration!
The bedroom suite at Dover feels like is was designed just to hang a wedding dress…specifically Lauren’s gorgeous gown!
A really personal detail was Lauren’s engagement ring, which is an authentic 1920’s ring! It inspired the Art Deco vibe seen throughout the day, and I think you can see why!
Mark surprised his future wife with this gorgeous choker, and she was so touched, she chose to wear it in place of her wedding jewelry!

The details of Dover Hall could not have been more perfect to host such an artistic wedding! We couldn’t resist capturing a few extra details to highlight what a wonderful fit this venue was….
Meanwhile, Mark & his sister relaxed before the ceremony in the game room, which made the perfect setting for a hand of cards and a few portraits.
Lauren chose an alternative to the traditional aisle, and instead walked across the patio and down the altar steps to meet her almost-husband! It was a lovely!
The way these two look at each other…..it’s like a heart-eyes emoji in real life.

After family photos, we had just enough evening light left for a few portraits around the estate. We think they look like they are right at home!
One of the major perks of having full service wedding coordination is that they can help foresee timeline issues, and ensure there is plenty of time to capture all the important details. Kerri, the genius behind Blush Events, made sure we were able to access the fully set ballroom about an hour before the ceremony. We’re SO glad she did, because these details are STUNNING!
Lauren & Mark were clearly ready to get their party started!
After sharing a first dance, a round of lovely toasts, and of course, cake, the dance floor was hopping all night!
We’ll leave you with this sweet moment between the newlyweds. Pictures like this can’t be recreated from pinterest, or put on a shot list. They appear during the in-between moments. Because Lauren & Mark planned a wedding day with a little room to breathe, and because they trusted us to photograph the essence of their day at it naturally unfolded, we were able to capture a little magic when no one else was looking.
