It was a gorgeous Saturday afternoon, the kind of weather you pray for if you’ve planned a September wedding in Virginia. And if any one deserved such a gorgeous day to get married, it’s Cynthia & Henry. There aren’t enough adjectives to describe how sweet these two are together, and since we happen to have a bunch of stunning images stashed on our computers, we’ll just have to show you!
Cynthia & Henry opted for a first look, which turned out to be a fabulous decision, because it allowed them to wrap up their post-ceremony photos a little quicker, and also resulted in these adorable photos. Somethings you can’t quite capture in front of 80 of your closest friends…
Off to get hitched! And check out the stunning detail on this dress from Urban Set Bride…..
One of our favorite things about weddings at Sunday Park is the naturally pretty details that come along with it! We also adore the recent upgrades they have made to the already beautiful outdoor ceremony space; just when we thought our favorite venue couldn’t get any better!
Cynthia & Henry opted for an unplugged ceremony, which we love. It gives guest more of a chance to be present, and it takes down some potential road blocks for us during the vows…..translation…better ceremony photos!!
Even with a first look, you STILL get the moment, that overwhelming feeling of seeing each other with just a short aisle between you and being married!
Such a good looking wedding party, we’re suspicious they didn’t choose solely on being photogenic!
The flowers + the romantic updo, it’s so beautiful! . Not sure we’ve ever taken so many photos of the back of someone’s head 🙂
Once we headed inside, Cynthia & Henry enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife. Just as the music started to play, the golden rays started bursting in through the window….we’ll take that as a sign. 🙂
Once dinner began, we slipped back outside for a few evening portraits. The view of the lake alone is enough reason to get married at Sunday Park!
Look at this AMAZING family heirloom ring…we would say this qualifies as something old and something blue!
The happy couple and their sweet friends spent the rest of the evening dancing & enjoying each other’s company. The personal touches throughout the reception made the night one their guests would be sure to remember!
A sweet moment towards the end of the night was an instant classic! Cynthia & Henry, a million happy wishes to you; thank you for the incredibly honor of documenting your wedding day!
