Siobhan & Geoff: A Cathedral of St Matthew Wedding

We have to apologies in advance for the amount of pictures we are sharing from this wedding. Normally we pick our favorite twenty or so, but Siobhan and Geoff had such a beautiful day, we are sharing closer to fifty. I think you’ll see why! These two planned an exquisite day. Siobhan started her morning in the luxurious jefferson suite room, which is a bride’s dream space for getting ready. The girls sipped mimosas and laughed over all their favorite Siobhan memories, while the hair and makeup team was on hand to ensure everyone was looking extra gorgeous. Meanwhile, the guys relaxed and enjoyed sipping on top shelf liquor in their suite- Johnny Walker Gold anyone? Geoff clearly has good taste, but we already knew that, since he chose Siobhan to be his wife.

The day was chilly, but the rain held off, and after the ceremony we had plenty of time to make two stops for portraits; one at the White House, and one at Union Station. The wedding party were troopers- we ended up having to hike through all of union station, but it paid off in gorgeous portraits!!  The reception was just as beautiful as the rest of the day; the ballroom was glowing in candlelight and the champagne flutes were brimming when the couple arrived. The toasts were heart warming and the room was filled with love. Siobhan and Geoff, thank you so much for including us in your AMAZING day, and for trusting us to make photographs that capture the incredible love that you share. We wish you a million happy years together!
